Meet Carmen
Carmen Moreno-Rivera is a Transformative Strategist, Speaker, and Author. She has worked as president of a social mission-driven B corporation, a senior-level executive in city government, and as an engineering and operations leader. In her 20-year professional career, Carmen’s broad scope of work includes strategic planning, performance management, systems design, strategic resourcing plans and talent acquisition, and operationalizing equity and inclusion in the workplace.
Driven by a passion for helping others, Carmen has worked on large-scale strategies and projects in the areas of social impact, education, public safety, economic mobility, and social justice. She serves on the boards of the Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD), Kentucky Science Center, University of Louisville’s Organizational Leadership and Learning program, and TECH-Nique, an organization committed to increasing opportunities for marginalized groups in the field of technology. Carmen is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership from Spalding University in Louisville, KY.
